Wow, ok here goes a 'Critique' from strictly a scifi fan, NOT an artist. I find the basic design very well done. Clean lines and a very distinct grip. Love the overall shape without unnecessary gadgets/handles etc. Would make this very easy to maneuver around without hanging on anything or catching on anything. Would like to see an overview of what kind of energy weapon it is (imaginary energy of course lol), like say plasma, particle beam, photon etc. I think the color scheme staying basic and militaristic is one of my favorite things about all your creations. It gives a very functional and realistic appeal to your weapons. That and the picatinny rails, holographic sights and all the very realistic details make for a very appealing image to me. The range limit and reason behind it is very cool touch and well thought out. Again, big fan of your work, and this is one of my favorites...
