Unnamed free rifle by peterku Unnamed free rifle by peterku

Hi.

People used to contact me and ask for advice or models.  To answer all of them at once I make this job.  I modeled this concept and share raw model as it is with all of you.

While modeling  I didnt make any too complicated shapes or sub-objects. It is not complicated and therefore  could be helpful for beginners.   (One point. I dont claim I do whole modeling correctly. This just shows how I do it. That's all. And curved surfaces are modeled differently than this one. )

All of you can use, edit or modify this model in any way. if you do any texturing or rendering of it I dont mind you upload your work anywhere you wish. Only thing I'd appreciate -  if you keep my account here on deviantart as one source of this files.

Here you can download 3ds max file: www.filedropper.com/peterku-ri…

and OBJ file: www.filedropper.com/peterku-ri…

Password : peterku.deviantart.com

If links are dead let me know and I will upload it again.

P.S.

To make object highpoly you need to apply meshsmooth or turbosmooth function on it. (All 3d programs have this functions but maybe they call it by other name.)

If this help  you leave me big Thanks in comments.

Bye.  PK

It reminds me so much of an ACR. The sleekness and integrated suppressor are really what I find impressive. Not many people realize MP5 systems aren't the only ones that use integrated suppressors. And it looks like a new age weapon too. Very sleek and smooth, kinda like European cars. I love the redesigned holographic too.ergonomic grip, new and different camo scheme, and an uninterrupted weaver system? This is amazing. Your swords and your firearms, as I have said multiple times, are truly astounding. If I may give some very constructive criticism, don't be afraid to add on more attachments like magnifiers or infrared lasers in future models. You're going to really great places with this brother. Keep up the good work.

Interesting! Looks very similar to Magul's Masada. Cool design but not so practical in my eyes. You often see a "lip" on the mag-well to help guide the magazine in and also to save on weight rather than having the "lip" inside the mag-well. (if the lip is inside, you have all the build up of that edge on the entire receiver rather than just the bottom of the mag-well). Also, if holding the rifle from the mag-well rather than using the fore-grip, you would be holding it quite awkwardly and would put strain on the hand over use. Id recommend having it straight down or have the it angled the other direction much like a Kriss Vector. The fore-grip looks a bit uncomfortable to hold with those edges, maybe bring those edges in a bit so it is more flesh with the rest of the design. I also noticed a slight re-designed in the M4 stock and Magpul MOE grip. The Magpul MOE grip just seems too boxy to hold onto and after using this rifle for an extended period of time would cause discomfort and the angles would be felt much more. Thinking functionality, with the low amount of ventilation around the barrel, Id assume it to get very hot. Maybe add a few more ports. I also thought it odd that you still used flat head screws in the design after making it so sleek. Especially for a suppressor. The suppressor also seems very "decorated" which draws a lot of attention away from the whole design. But, there you go, that is just my strict opinion I guess haha : P Keep working!

I like this a lot! Was this somehow inspired by Crysis'  weapon the SCAR? The magwel has the exact same feel to it.
