People used to contact me and ask for advice or models. To answer all of them at once I make this job. I modeled this concept and share raw model as it is with all of you.
While modeling I didnt make any too complicated shapes or sub-objects. It is not complicated and therefore could be helpful for beginners. (One point. I dont claim I do whole modeling correctly. This just shows how I do it. That's all. And curved surfaces are modeled differently than this one. )
All of you can use, edit or modify this model in any way. if you do any texturing or rendering of it I dont mind you upload your work anywhere you wish. Only thing I'd appreciate - if you keep my account here on deviantart as one source of this files.
Here you can download 3ds max file: www.filedropper.com/peterku-ri…

If links are dead let me know and I will upload it again.
To make object highpoly you need to apply meshsmooth or turbosmooth function on it. (All 3d programs have this functions but maybe they call it by other name.)
If this help you leave me big Thanks in comments.
As always: great work!
im imaginging that this is nacys rifle
While I think you are a great artist, I mean yeah your models are great, I think you should try to put some optimization on the polycount. I personally would enjoy being able to put your models in a game in a weapon pack (credits will go to you of course for the model and anything that surrounds it like UVs, texture and such).
For the model itself I'd say it looks great, design is great, but well If I have to change anything is pretty much redoing the model following up the base design you did. and anyways thanks for doing this kind of offer as the effort put in it is something of an interest, but in case of people wanting to do this for game or modding purpose I think your rifle isn't what I would recommend because of the very high polycount; but for art purpose it is a great model.
