Time by time I meet opinion that realistic object can not be made by low-poly object. I believe there are many ways how to reach this goal without wasting a lot of polygons. Here is my little example. There is only one element with turbosmooth - pipeline in top-front area of weapon as I had no nerves to play with it. All others are low poly objects. Design is partially taken from one concept on internet. Modeling is made only through using simple primitives and short simple poly modeling. Textures are simple as well. Its the mater of 10 minutes playing in photoshop. (in this there is major space where you can increase global quality. if you have more time then play with textures longer.) Throw them on model, create 2 basic lights, move them into right position, got 1 camera and result is on picture. Bye.
