Concept of standart assault rifle. Actually, It is not 100 percent concept. Idea was to design fictional rifle from these days. To keep proper design as Outline I used profile of ARX-160. Back area is redesigned more then front part. I used built-in silencer as well. Originaly I mentioned to make some black surface with full textures but I changed it eventually. I covered it into this color and exclude textures on body caused it distrupted me. So I painted it by this color and try for "luxury"look.

Hope you like it and tnx for comments.

I did several images. Big views

Well let me put this simple.
This is amazing.>i> :)
This gun is really well done, and it even looks real! The detail is incredible, and it looks as thought it would be a well functioning rifle.
I really cannot see any flaws with this. I have looked for flaws, but it seems this design is pretty much PERFECT.
Although, I will ask one question. What is that in front of the magazine? Is it an extra handle? It would make sense for the person using the weapon to have that second handle, I just haven't seen anything like that.
On thing I do love is that you made the gun look as though it's on display, rather than have it randomly floating in the air or looking drawn out on paper.
And I can say...you did great on the tablecloth! :dummy:

This is an awesome design; it looks realistic, futuristic, and it looks like a carbine that would be used in CQ urban firefights. A couple of changes I would make are to remove the laser, the foregrip and the handgrip, and the buttstock; IMO, lasers are overrated, not combat practical, and are nice-to-haves. The bad thing about lasers, and the last thing you want to do is to give away your position/presence; you will give away the element of surprise if someone is hiding behind a wall or an object, and they see a laser dot moving around. I would change the foregrip to a Magpul handgrip because it is more ergonomical, and it fits in better to a person's hand. The handgrip looks a little short, and the buttstock somehow does not look like it flows with the design. I would keep the buttstock adjustable, and make it look like an ACR adjustable buttstock. The last thing I would add is to move the sight on the top rail a little forward to put a scoping sight behind it; that way, in a CQ firefight, you can move the scope to the side and use the holographic sight, and then you can flip the scope back behind the holographic sight to make a zoomed in/scope shot. The design looks like it has a gas piston, which means it has the reliability of an AK-47; meaning that you can throw through the gun in the dirt, mud and water and it will still fire without the gun blowing up in the person's face. Even with the silencer, overall gun length looks like it is short and CQ firefighting friendly, which means you can turn corners better, and turn the weapon on someone faster then with a longer barrel rifle. Overall, great job.

very cool. might have an accuracy issue but it would be effective indoors.

on another note you might try different clips for ammo. personally i like drums since they hold way more ammo and can have an unjamming device built in which is very modern warfare friendly.

Yeah. The drum clip is a relatively old invention that goes all the way back to the Thompson machine gun. It is a superior design. Being ignored by modern warfare as it is "excessive " :)
