Concept of sword - AKI

Program: 3ds max + small work in photoshop
Engine: Vray
Model: Highpoly

Speedwork of designing sword. To save a time I focused just on grip. Blade itself is simple. Normally I do several pictures, but now I did only this one. Hope It's obvious but need to highlight - I did concept of sword. (modeling and rendering is mine) but I did NOT draw picture of swordman. I just found in on internet and used it. Dont know who made it. Probably someone of you has a knowledge. What to say more... So what? Like it or not? Tnx for comments if any. Bye.

P.S.
People gave me feedback about author of swordman. His name is Yoji Shinkawa. He's the lead artist for the entire Metal Gear Solid franchise.

love that blade, not sure about the shaft though, wonder if that would really give you a good grip

lol. i put all attention on grip. blade itself is simple mesh done in 5 minutes.

The artist responsible for this picture of Grey Fox is Yoji Shinkawa. He's the lead artist for the entire Metal Gear Solid franchise, and a very talented man.

Nice job peterku! It's a great work. Now all you have to do is make a bow and arrow. Recurve bow would be most awesome.
